Weed Control Diver Class

This program is a 2-day course designed in collaboration with the NHDES in accordance with New Hampshire Federal Requirements for Invasive Weed Removal. You will learn about weed control methods and how to identify, document, and safely and effectively hand harvest and dispose of this and possibly other insidious weeds. The first day is a 6-hour classroom workshop during the day with a lunch break (brown bag) in which you will learn both identification and removal methodology. The second day is hands-on instruction and experience in a lake learning the removal of eurasian milfoil. Dive gear is NOT included. We do have gear available for rent. Please let us know if you need gear when you sign up. Note that the courses are being held in a variety of locations and only sign up if you are able to attend BOTH the 6-hour classroom and the dive instruction at that location.
