Ice diving can be extremely challenging, yet rewarding experiences. Excellent visibility, a calm surface platform to work from, and an otherworldly experience are some of the highlights of ice diving. Diving under ice is a special situation which increases the dive complexity, with the presence of a ceiling overhead for divers. This requires a team of surface tenders and special procedures to ensure that divers are able to return to the entry hole, as well as deal with any emergencies that might arise.
